Wim Van Petegem

Policy Coordinator Learning Technologies in KU Leuven, Faculty of Engineering Technology (wim.vanpetegem@kuleuven.be)

Wim Van Petegem holds a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven (1993). He has worked at the University of Alberta, Edmonton (Canada), at the Open University of the Netherlands and at the Leuven University College (Belgium). He was Director of the Teaching and Learning Department at KU Leuven (Belgium) and now he is there Professor at the Faculty of Engineering Technology. He is expert in learning technologies and engineering education. He is currently Vice-President for Research and Academic Activities of EDEN. He is involved in many international research projects and heavily engaged in development cooperation with the South.
